SFYH's KEY STRATEGIC AREAS FOR 2023

Serhii Komnatnyi, the Chairman of the State Fund for Support of Youth Housing Construction, held this year's final official meeting with the members of the SFYH's Board, department managers of the main office, and regional divisions of the SFYH.

The focus of the meeting was to discuss tasks for 2023 and key performance indicators of the SFYH this year.

Opening the meeting, Serhii Komnatnyi briefly talked about the current year's results. Due to the ongoing war, it became the most challenging year in the history of Ukraine and SFYH.

Despite the war, thanks to management decisions adopted in the first half of 2022 and practical cooperation with central authorities, especially with the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, as well as thanks to the cooperation with foreign donors, several housing programs were preserved, and the shift towards the strategic goals of the SFYH proceeded.

Given the realities of russia's military aggression against our country, the critical target category of citizens for SFYH became families who lost their homes. Therefore, the primary efforts of the SFYH's team as a socially oriented institution are currently focused on assisting internally displaced persons (IDPs).

For 2023, the key strategic areas of the development of SFYH are further digitalization, deepening transparency, and activating international cooperation. And first of all, of course, the search for funding sources for housing programs in the conditions of the ongoing war, considering current challenges with financing housing programs from the state budget of Ukraine.

According to the meeting results, the relevant instructions to all parties were given as per the decisions of the Board.
